CHALLENGE 

Wolverine Machine Products challenges you and your company to design and build your own custom kart and then hit the track and race. We are looking to make this an event, please respond to info@wolverinemachine.com if you and your company have an interest in racing against Wolverine Machine and other companies. Reserve your spot at the starting line and we'll see you at the finish line!

Kart Racing

It started out as a challenge to the employees - come up with an idea of something that Wolverine Machine can produce and call its own. Something that the employees can work on together, utilizing team building exercises and opportunities to learn new skills. Something that we can be proud to put the Wolverine Machine logo on.

The challenge was answered and the newest project to hit Wolverine Machine is the world of Kart Racing. We will learn from many types and designs that are out on the tracks today. We will produce all of the components here from design to finished product, using skills that we have from reverse engineering, to machining and water jet cutting and incorporating new skills like constructing the frame out of chrome molly tubing.

What we are hoping this brings in the future is an opportunity to both mass produce the product as well as create custom builds  for those individuals or companies that request it.

We look forward to this new challenge while still doing what we do best and that is to produce high quality precision machine parts with on-time delivery and meeting our customer's needs and standards.

Wolverine Machine hosts Open House for the 90th Anniversary

On Friday May 31st, Wolverine Machine celebrated the company's 90th Anniversary with an Open House for employees, families, customers, vendors and friends. We were visited by State Representative Joseph Graves who presented President Ken Walker and CEO/VP Bruce Walker with a special State Tribute to commemorate the company's milestone. He stated the uniqueness of not only surviving for 90 years in the many ups and downs of manufacturing and the economy, but also that it has done so at the same location and in the same family.

Wolverine Machine remembers those heroes who have fallen in the fight for the freedom we enjoy today, on this Memorial Day and on every day. 

 

Michigan Defense Expo

Wolverine Machine participated as a vendor at the Michigan Defense Expo 2013 in Macomb County on May 14-15. President Ken Walker, Special Projects Manager Blaine Walker and Marketing Specialist Deb Seekings attended the event.

ABC12 TV news visits Wolverine Machine

In honor of Wolverine Machine's 90th Anniversary, we were visited by the ABC12 local news station. Ken Walker, President and Bruce Walker, CEO were interviewed talking about how it feels to be the 3rd generation in a family owned business that has survived for 90 years. They also took some shots of the shop in action.
